Policy and Procedure

World K-9 Inc. will be glad to assist your department establish the correct policies and procedures for the use of their K-9 unit. These procedures will include a complete record system that can be used in the courts for all K-9 activities and the forms that the handler will use anytime a K-9 is utilized. We will show your department all the pertinent information regarding the dog's handler including, selection and training as well as housing and kennel requirements, recommended shift duration, the creation of K-9 vehicle. We will furnish applicable insurance and legal opinions as well as an extensive manual of procedures for a POLICE K-9 UNIT. Part of this includes a K-9 Officers duties and more importantly the duties of a non-K-9 Officer around a K-9 in various situations including, a crime scene, pursuit of a suspect, searches, tracking, crowd control and many more.
