World K-9 Inc. guarantees the dog to be free of any medical problems. The dog has been checked by our vet prior to any training. If the dog develops any medical problems during the first 12 months of service and it's determined the problem existed at the time of delivery, the dog will be replaced free.
If the K-9 develops any medical problems that will effect its performance level in the first three years after purchase, World K-9 Inc. will credit the department by pro-rated basis on a purchase of a new dog.
If the K-9 is killed in-line of duty under the control of the handler that was using good judgment at the time. (poor judgment allowing dog to running on the highway, etc.) It would be covered under the above pro-rate basis. If the dog dies of a medical problem it would be covered under above three year medical guarantee with the medical report from the departments vet.
a. Since we have no control over K-9 proficiency training once the dog leaves, we cannot guarantee performance after leaving. However, if we determine the problem had nothing to do with the lack of proficiency training, we will replace the K-9, within the first year free.
b. There are occasions when a dog may cease to perform under certain conditions or
cease working altogether. If this occurs, within the three years, we will train a
replacement dog (if the performance problem cannot be corrected). The cost to replace or
retrain the K-9 will be determined by the problem and when it first occurred. How soon it
was identified to World K-9 Inc., and what corrective action was taken to cure the
problems(s). The performance guarantee is on a five year pro-rated base.
